Iphone 5 stuck in red battery screen

I was using iphone 5 for 3 years that works without no problem, then this problem appears. When I start up the iphone at afternoon, it still works normally and until I turned on the low power mode at 93% of battery. Later that night, I was confused and partly amazed that the battery is still 93% after <6 hours of use, so I decided to not charge it rather than getting it overcharged. The next morning, when I want to bring it to school to use it, I checked the battery and it turned out that it shows the red battery screen with the charger. So at the afternoon i decided to charge it, but after hours of charging it only shows the red battery only screen and this is the second day of me out of communication.

Please, I need solution as soon as possible and thank you for your effort to answer my question, I appreciate all the help!

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.

  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
  • Press and hold on the Home button
  • Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.
